So, you may be asking; What is TeamSpeak? TeamSpeak is an application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. Basically, it's an Internet Based Teleconference.
So, what do I need to participate? All you need is the a microphone and speakers connected to your computer, (A headset with a mic works best) and the team speak client software. The software is available for free from here:
Just download the latest Client Software and click on the Connecting tab above once it's installed for instructions to connect to my teamspeak server.
If you need any help, just post it in the TeamSpeak Forum located in the forums section of the site, or e-mail me any questions. Also, look in the forums for scheduled TeamSpeak events, or just pop in, myslef or others will be online in TeamSpeak chatting.
Once you have TeamSpeak installed, have a mic and speakers plugged in, open the application.
First, please setup Push to talk by doing the following to prevent cross talk.
1. Go to Sound Input/Output Settings, (This will open the Sound Settings window)
2. Under Voice Send Method, click Push to Talk
3. Click Set
4. It will ask you to Pres a key, press any key that you want to use as your talk button,(kinda like a mic on a radio)I've been using the F1 key and it seems to work nice without interfering with other programs.
5. From then on when you want to talk just press the key you selected, talk, and then let go.
Now, to connect do the following, just do the following:
1. On the home page of this site and the Server Status tab on this page, look at the team speak server status.
2. Click on connect.
3. Just type in a nickname.
4. Click connect.
You can also manually do the following in TeamSpeak to connect:
1.Go to and click on Connection in the top left.
2.Click on Quick Connect
3.For Server Adress type in 72.218.90.15 also check the Current Server IP tab above for the current IP Adress.
4.In the Nickname:, just type in what you want to appear to everyone else as.(Ignore the login and password for now, I will grant everyone the right to register once your in. For now, I will run unmoderated Channels so unregistered can participate.)
5.Once in, you should be put into the Default Channel and will be able to hear and talk.
6. If the IP Changes, it will be posted in the Current Server IP tab above, and in the TeamSpeak forum.
